Harold S. Bucquet


Reportedly, London-born Harold S. Bucquet's entree into the American film industry was as a silent-movie extra. Bucquet began his Hollywood directorial career in the MGM short subject department, helming episodes of such series as Crime Does Not Pay and Carey Wilson Miniatures; one of his two-reelers, Torture Money (1937), won an Academy Award.
