Bernadette O'Farrell was a part of television history by being a castmember in the first British-originated series to achieve success in the United States. In the series, the 1950s Robin Hood, O'Farrell portrayed the character of Maid Marian. After two seasons, she left the show in order to avoid being typecast. She managed to perform in a handful of film roles, usually those that were scripted by her husband Frank Launder. She was widowed in 1997 and she passed away in late September 1999. ~ All Movie Guide
