Domingo Soler, Luis Aguilar, and Leonor Amar star in this Spanish crime drama from 1949. Don Alfonso is a judge of the utmost moral standing. He is also a happily married family man, and a proud father. Fully devoted to his job, he is a firm believer in justice. But when his own son commits a crime and flees the scene, his loyalties are put into conflict. As Alfonso's profession requires him to turn in his own son, his conscience tells him to remain his son's protector. Ultimately, Alfonso will face a battle between legal and family obligations.
