For those who have seen 'The Collector' and enjoyed it, this sequel is a valid and definite "must see". It picks up right where the original left off and delves deep into the domain of the Collector himself. The scenes are intense from the beginning as viewers are once again thrust right back into the seat with the protagonist, Arkin, from the original film. Viewers who have not seen the original can still just as easily follow along as the film stands well on its own.
Elena is a welcome addition to the casting and proves to have a fighting spirit which lends itself well to the film overall. It is very reminiscent of the Saw films due to the trap-devices, but stands differently in the fact that the Collector, himself, is truly without sympathy from the viewers.
Fun and entertaining, it keeps you on the edge of your seat from start until finish with all sorts of jumps and turns. Significantly better than the first film, you cannot help but find yourself once more cheering and hoping for Arkin as he tries to navigate his way through the labyrinth of this sadistic sociopath to rescue his latest victim.
