I saw the 'collector' and thought it was a decent 'Saw' clone, but I actually was surprised I liked this sequel even better than the original. I don't think you have to see the original to like this sequel.
I would think most fans of the 'Saw" series of movies would also like this. There are many similar elements to the 'Saw' series. I definitely recommend 'The Collection' if you are a fan of 'Saw" type movies or even just a fan of suspense films.
