Very funny film. Good fun. I think the previous poster missed the point of the film completely. All those elements are what makes the film /funny/ it works with the humor. The horrible thing the grandmother saw in the barn doesn't matter, it's …more»3 of 4 people found this review helpful-

It's a good idea to come to this movie completely unprepared or at least half-prepared.
I haven't read the novel, and had only an idea I'd heard of it before, so I was unprepared.
