I really wanted to love this movie because I love gangster movies. Went to see it the very day it opened. But, this one was not good. With all the supposedly good actors in the movie, you'd think it would be great, but it wasn't. It was barely passable and really I'd say a total waste of most people's time.
If you go back and recall True Romances and remember Gandolfini in that one? He was fantastic. That movie probably jump started his career. And then Brad Pitt in Kalifornia? He was fantastic in that one, too. Well, in this one with both of them together, it just never worked. Blame it on the story, if you want to, but it was bad.
