I still haven't pieced it all together, but some of the karma from life to life is obvious like one character killing another in one life, only to be killed back by them in another incarnation. I hope eventually there is a dvd with commentary by writers that explains all the links. Really makes me think about the misfortunes in my own life and wonder if I caused it all by past actions and how I treated others in previous lives. There is no doubt we reap what we sow, but this film really shows that in profound and moving ways. I don't want to give away a lot but also seems like some imagery there at end is a metaphor for how we treat cows among other things.
