Cloud Atlas is amazing. I just go back from the movie theater... I waited till today because the mediocre reviews held me back. Finally my brother in law insisted i go and I'm so glad i did!
A rich interweaving of multiple stories across time and characters - put together so extremely well on every level, from actors to sets to cinematography to screenplay to costumes. The scenes are gorgeous, the music is gorgeous too...
There's action and sci fi and romance and crime thriller and adventure - just great! Yes there's reaching for deeper meaning and it's cool that way too.
See it on the big screen while you still can.
