Walked out of this movie scratching my head... Many times the dialogue was unintelligable and the story difficult to follow..Was told to go see after comparisons to "The Fountain", which to me was a revelation. Popcorn was good, movie not so...Had more fun picking off the actors in their assorted roles and make-up than trying to figure out what all of this meant to me. Felt like I had wasted 3 hrs. and the money spent...Wouldn't even recommend this as a rental...If Tom or any of the others earn an Oscar for this overblown farce I will, once and for all, know that the voters are all panderers...The only thing that could have worsened this movie is if they had added Woody Allen to the cast...The "One Star" is for the cinematography which was, at times, interesting..Don't waste your time...
