This movie starts slow. Slow and disjointed. However, you just have to stick with it. Eventually, the stories all become entwined, in a grand view of humanity. There are wonderful scenes of triumph and humor, and startling scenes of brutality and horror. …more»2 of 2 people found this review helpful-

I read the bad reviews on this movie and had a hunch why it was getting bad reviews. You see this movie required a attention span of more than 10 minutes and an intellegence level above that of a 10 grader. Both are in short supply in America.

I think Hollywood wanted to make a story, but couldn't decide which story it wanted to make, so lets just mix it up like having Chinese food, pizza, hamburgers, tamales and snails all at one dinning event! And too bad each one on its own was mediocre. …more»1 of 1 people found this review helpful-

This film cannot be compared to any one movie. The only way I can describe it is it's Forrest Gump and The Matrix fused together. I love movies that take some time to for the plot to unravel. Examples would be The Matrix, Dark City, The 13th Floor, …more»1 of 1 people found this review helpful-

Cloud Atlas was amazing. I am in awe of the acting skills, the way this complex weaving of 6 storylines came together, the production, costuming/makeup, FX! I had no idea that I had sat in that theatre as long as I did until I looked at my watch while …more»0 of 0 people found this review helpful-

This movie lasted 45 minutes for me and much of the rest of the audience. There were 32 in the theater at the movie's start and 10 by the time I walked out and got a refund 45 minutes into the film. Some of the scenes were interesting, but as a movie …more»0 of 0 people found this review helpful-

What can I say. Who ever gave this a four star must have been out of their mind. The only two people for sure in the movie is Halle and Tom. I mean it's impossible to follow the story's plot because just when you think you have a drop on it the scene …more»1 of 1 people found this review helpful
