best of the year!!!!
I dont think so cuz its the best movie I'v ever seen.
Actually the actors have givven what the havent in thier old movies.
Its a story of a real life.

Who was this Jimmy Braddock who intertwined with so many of these figures? A 1920s fighter of promising merit � his fall in fortunes is conveyed in a brilliant transition � he was a dock laborer by 1933 on the rare days he could find work.

This movie captures the times it is depicting so well, you feel like you are there. Every performance is suberb. Like "A Beautiful Mind", fact from fiction can be argued. Jim Braddock was a helluva fighter and had plenty of reasons to keep on fighting to keep his family together.

Words come short of describing the true depth of this movie.
Definitley will "teach" you something. Excellent movie, no swearing, senseless violence, or special effects that often distort more than illuminate.

This movie is so pretuenious it's amazing it made it to the screen.
