I (46) went with my 15 & 17 year old daughters and my 10 & 15 year old nieces. We ALL loved it. We all cried too! This is a beautiful movie. Some sad parts but true life. The cinematography was exceptional!! The haters of this movie, I actually feel sorry for you!! You must have some major issues in your life. I would love to find out the relationship between Oscar and Freddie today, I can't get that cute little face of Osca's out of my head!! Awesome creatures!! So proud of Freddie for doing the right thing!!

Go back to watching the Kardashians..!!!! I'm sure you love that type of reality better. We don't need people like you trashing such a beautiful film.

LOL at Kayla calling it "Horrible" and wanting to see "George of the Jungle." This is a documentary darling; i.e., real life. I suppose you were expecting explosions or other shiny things to satisfy your simple brain. Sorry nothing put real
nature and an amazing story here.

Beautiful cinematography and stunning footage of these amazing, intelligent animals. Oscar is so cute, and the bond we see with his mother is so human-like, it's hard to understand why anyone who has seen the film would have anything negative to say about it. It is appropriate for all ages. As for the comment that "Oscar is dead now", I don't believe that's true.

I saw the movie with with my soon to be 5yr old grandgaughter. She got it, especially the male leader becoming Oscar's daddy. Some humans males can learn a lesson. The movie was wonderful.

P.S. No need to mention that sad incident with that lady. These animals are in their nature envirorment living within nature's code. Mankind needs to stop trying to capture and control everybody and everything in the universe.

It was terrific,as it was real life. If someone can't see that, they aren't living in the real world.

      Your sentence structure suggests otherwise.

This was the best movie I have ever seen. I took my 4 yr old granddaughter and of course there were a lot of questions from her. Isn't that what is supposed to happen? You answer their questions with age appropriate answers. You get to open the door for discussions that hopefully will take place in years to come. The photography was sensational. I keep reading the reviews knocking Tim Allen. I don't have any opinion on Tim Allen and I was so busy paying attention to what was going on in the movie I didn't even notice or care who was the narrator. I feel bad for anyone that cannot watch something so real and just appreciate it for what it is. I read one review that put the breast feeding chimp in the sexual catagory. So, I would love to see this rated as the best movie EVER. But to the people that don't appreciate this beautiful reality you should run directly to the nearest psy hospital and ask for meds. I would rather be eaten by those chimps than exist in your whining overly critical lives.
FYI monkeys have tails and apes (chimps) do not.

It is fascinating that you can identify with what is "dumb" is when your spelling and grammar are indicative of someone who is just that.

Bonobos are cuter and more lovable, but Disney probably couldn't cope with their insatiable sexual appetite, so they decided go with the chimpanzees, even though they're naturally more aggressive and violent.

Looks beautiful but might wait for the dvd after learning Tim Allen did the narration. Can't think of a worse choice. One of the things that made the english version of March of the Penguins so fun was the great but subtle narration of Morgan Freeman. There is nothing subtle about Tim Allen.

Disappointed to hear that Tim Allen is the narrator but that won't deter me from seeing the movie. I agree that a voice like Morgan Freeman would have been a better choice. (But, who knows, maybe it works!).

obviously his narration is appropriately delivered for the film. dont be an idiot. i assume they worked years on the footage. but yeah im sure they gave the dialogue to tim allen and told him to wing it and hope for the best. his tone will match the tone of the film.

I think the film is definitely worth seeing - - the cinematography is stunning - oddly enough, some of the time sequence plant segments were - for me, some of the best of the movie. I don't think, however, that this measures up to the other Earth Day movies, and I am not sure why I feel that way. I think it may have to do, in some measure, with the narration - - too cutsey.....film didn't need it.
