Synopsis

Based on the real-life story of the Gilbreth family, a light tale which follows the large clan from Rhode Island, to New Jersey, and details the amusing anecdotes and hardships experienced by particularly large families. Frank Gilbreth, Sr., was a pioneer in the field of motion study, and he often used his family as guinea pigs--with amusing results. Somewhat of a traditionalist, Frank resisted popular culture, and spent much time railing against his daughters' desires for bobbed hair and cosmetics.
