My husband was very hesitant to go to this movie but we went and took our kids and absolutely loved it. We live in the Bay Area so of course it was cool to see many places that we frequent in summer but the story line was really good and the surfing scenes were super! I think it is good for all ages (well 10 and older). It really shows that you need both mental and physical strength in order to be a winner. Since it is based on a true story I think it is especially poignant.
