The story of two runners Harold Abrahams and Eric Liddel and their paths to the 1924 Olympics in Paris, France. Both are gifted runners, but one struggles with his personal fear of anti-semetism, the other with compromising his faith for the love of running. The movie lets you experience the pain of losing and the 'elation' of winning as these runners have their ups and downs. Together with the score from Vangelis and an all-star supporting cast.
