Cats & Dogs: The Revenge of Kitty Galore(2010)- User Reviews

Cheesy.

On my BA flight from LON-MIA or ORL-LON, I obviously had to watch some movies to entertain myself. As a thirteen-year-old I had to look for family-oriented movies, and I found Cats & Dogs Two. I actually saw some trailers and promotion, but I didn't see the usual hype over a movie. I was intrigued, but I think now I know why.

Cats & Dogs: The Revenge of Kitty Galore picks up where the infamous previous movie left off: cats and dogs rage a weapons war against each other behind the back of ideas. But in THIS movie, cats and dogs have to team up to defeat enemy Kitty Galore, a bare-bones cat which had fell into probably radium thus her awkward and scary appearance. You might be wondering why cats care about going against someone of their own race - apparently both cats and dogs share the goal of protecting humans.

Even through a cats and dogs war idea is good, it has been presented not all well. A weapons race? Secret headquarters? I think it is too exaggerated.

Acting was not horrible but FREAKY. I have to place emphasis on the word FREAKY for it was really weird and scary. If you have a child who might be sensitive to cats and dogs talking and acting so human-like, and raging a war against each other, I suggest you better not go and opt for Megamind, which is surprisingly less scary.

Visuals are also quite bad. I'm not sure why, but probably the acting which is the movement of the animals' mouths affected the visuals greatly. The pace of the movie is good, though.

All in all, it is not a really good movie, but if its sold at a good deal or the rental price is quite low, then you might want to give it a shot.
