The infamous man called Bond takes a different turn to comedy in 1967's Casino Royale. We all know the spy who stops the bad guys and spares time for womanizers in actual Bond isn't like that. This time Bond is an older gent who is now in control of his facility and has taken the action to give all agents the codename 007 in order to confuse their enemies. Meanwhile, an evil organization known as SMERSH is out to bring the old Bond out of retirement at the equally infamous Casino Royale. The film is random and a tad cheesily quirky but it is surprisingly funny. Peter Sellers once again shows the world his comic genius while the rest assist the man in parodying tons of Bond films. The only major nitpick is that it runs on a little too long and sometimes the jokes just end up a bit too random. However, that only occasionally adds to the film's strength through its randomness.
