Casino Royale(2006)- User Reviews

I heard that this was "new" Bond and wasn't sure what to expect going in. I was pleasantly surprised from the opening scene. The movie was grittier than most of the Bonds in the past. It didn't revolve around scripts based upon implausable concepts and weaponary relying upon a strong story and good acting. The action scenes were fast paced if infrequent. James is actually not perfect in this movie which is refreshing. Only true weakness was in the love interest, I'm still not sure how we got from A to B in the story. It should have either been fleshed out more or dropped. The scenes in Montenegro were spectacular, I may need to go to to see first hand. Overall well worth the money for tickets and popcorn.
