Ingrid Bergman's deep stares portraying her character's loneliness & uncontainable curiosity about Rick (Bogart's character) I thought was one of the key elements that makes this movie such a classic. Don't get me wrong I think Bogart did a great job especially in the scene where he's sitting at the bar completely dejected just spilling his guts, but Bergman sold the part even better. The final climactic scene is great with the perfect foggy setting and Rick's confidaunt covering for him.
