Cars 2(2011)- User Reviews

When I saw ads for this movie, my original reaction was, "Uggghh. Why on Earth are they making another Cars? The world doesn't need a sequel." I thought that it would be absolutely horrible. But, it really wasn't that bad. The plot was ok, there was a little bit of character development, and there was a ton of action, not too mention explosions (and who doesn't love explosions?). Except, there is NO WAY that this is a rated "G" movie. There was killing, drinking of alcohol (ok, so they never say that, but come on, they had wine glasses, and a bar), and there was drama and crude humor and all of that stuff. No idea how that made a "G" rating.
I'm glad that there were all the same actors. I hate it when they make a sequel, and the characters sound different (like with Brother Bear 2, that was a disaster). All in all. as far as sequels go, this ones OK, but not for smaller kids (although, they're probably already watching violent stuff).
