Cars 2(2011)- User Reviews

Contrary to most people's beliefs, I actually liked this movie very much. I think it's about time they give Mater a litle spotlight, and even so, several parts were hilarious. And while some areas were a little too mature for a younger audience,(very young, between 2-4 in my opinion)it was still a very good movie. And while it can never compare to the first film, it was still excellent all around.Anyway,even with some saying that there's too much violence in Cars 2, what about all the movies that are much more violent, rated PG-13, showing blood and blatant death and such, that most parents allow their children to watch? My six year old cousin has been dying to watch the sequel for years, and he, and the rest of my family, adored it. This movie had several talented actors and actresses, and was a welcome change from the usual 'kiddy'films. I believe as times passes, the movies become more mature, such as Toy Story 3. The toys were nearly melted down, and veritably killed, and yet everyone seemed to love that movie, I did as well, even with its mature and somewhat dark themes. So most people would be considered quite fickle by simply judging the movie based on how it matures. Those are my thoughts of course, and most would disagree with my point of view, but once again, these are my thoughts on the (in my opinion) very good movie, Cars 2.
