It might have been scary in the 70's but I did not think it was scary. However I still do think it is a great movie. Of course everyone knows it is a novel from the master of horror Stephen King. I thought Sissy Spacek did a good job as Carrie. This movie was also the first movie appearance for John Travolta. There are times were he is kinda humerous in the movie. I have not read the book yet but I thought the movie was successfull and well done by the cast. Not a scary movie but it is still a movie that is worth it to watch.
