A beautiful film, most interesting because it focuses on the last months of her life. The acting on all fronts is superb and is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the voice of Maria Callas
The film could easily have become ridiculous trying to use the voice of Callas but it is cleverly done. With the fictitious Callus already miming her own lyrics within the film it stays convincing to the end.
It is less a film about Maria Callas, exploring who she was, but rather a celebration of what she was. This comes highly recommended to anyone with any love of Opera or art.
