Cabin Fever actually surprised me. It had a really, really excellent story and the acting was actually surprisingly really good. As Eli Roth's first directorial debute, this horror movie is full of surpringing twists, hilarious comic reliefs, and a believable enough plot to keep it from falling into a pile of disgraceful cliches.
All and all, it's a brilliant idea for a horror movie and I strongly recommend this to any or all horror fans who havent seen it already.
Cabin Fever: *** stars. 8.5/10.
rated R for strong violence and gore, sexuality, langugae, and brief drug use.
scenes of disturbing and bloody violence including shootings and stabbings, plenty of F-bombs, a brief scene of drug use, and several sex/nude scenes.
