Rocky and Rambo were classics. Even then, however, I laughed at Rocky because of the unrealistic violence. I was in the military and understood that it was just a film. That’s how Stallone made his money, from violence, which makes his current film and recent comments so hypocritical. From one side of his face, he argues mental health care is needed to curb the violence in our society. From the other side of his mouth, he feeds the collective mental illness of our society by making violent, B movies. He should run for public office, because he talks out of both sides of his mouth and really stands for nothing. He should have gone out on top, but like many Hollywood actors stayed around way too long and believes his own BS.
