Broken City(2013)- User Reviews

Awful, storyline was weak at best, do not waste your hard earned money on this very poorly written movie. Some scenes were all most laughable, mostly Whalberg (what is with all the close ups???) It seriously felt like a bad SNL skit, Whalberg can not carry a bad story line and this movie has way too much of him and a lot of bad writing. Crowe is decent, because he's a really good actor, but Mark Whalberg, yowza, it didn't work in this film. I need to run to the bathroom, feel my stomach churning with replays in my head. If you're a fan of the cast, maybe worth a $1 rental, but don't see it in the theaters, not worth the money and you will regret it....
