I thought this was one of the funniest movies I've ever seen! Some of the visual comedy was so effective I thought I'd laugh myself blue, and the characters are likable if a bit over the top. This is a movie I can watch again and again and enjoy …more»2 of 2 people found this review helpful-

I got a chance to watch this when nothing else was on. Being a guy, I was very hesitant to watch it, but what the heck, "Nothing Ventured, Nothing Gained", right?
Well, I was quite surprised how good the movie actually was! Good story, (a …more»0 of 0 people found this review helpful-

Bridget Jones, spinster and lunatic?hardly. More like a role model for women of every generation. Unlike other movie portrayals of females, Bridget is truely a woman all of us can and want to relate to. She is an icon in every sensemore»0 of 0 people found this review helpful-

I never saw this in the theaters and had never heard about the book, but caught it on satellite by chance. Once I started watching, I couldn't take my eyes off the screen. Renee Zellwegger is brilliant and is now my favorite actress. This movie …more»0 of 0 people found this review helpful-

I'm not a HUGE fan of chick filcks, but I don't mind them if they come in small quanties. Or every once and awhile.
I did enjoy this movie though, and I thought that it was well made, with entertaining performances from the leads.

I must admit that today so many movies are for movie
fans (high school through 20's) I'm glad to finally
have watched something for us 30+ that are wondering
what it would be like to actually understand some of
what goes on in movies. Great acting …more»0 of 0 people found this review helpful
