This movie spoke to my celtic heritage. It was pretty accurate and the music and artwork were phenomenal. The quality of Disney movies have suffered as they've tried to appeal to a much different generation, but Brave is definitely one of the best movies I've ever seen.
For those who claim Merida is not a hero and not brave you are clueless. For her to stand up for her right to chose whomever she marries, in that time period...amazing. It was simply not done in those times. You married your betrothal, a man you might have never even met before, and you did so without complaint.
