NO SPOILERS in this review. My wife and I and our 6 year old daughter really liked this movie. The animation was absolutely terrific - at least in 2D. Pixar is really staying on the cutting edge of computer animation I must say. The characters were very entertaining and there are some great laughs - some of the humor is a little crude and that may not be for everyone but didn't bother us. The story was good, if a little predictable, but I don't really hold that against a "family" movie. I'm sure it wasn't predictable at all to 90% of pre-teens. There are great "action" scenes in this movie both for humorous and dramatic effect - including some elements of real danger that were a little frightening at times for our 6 year old, but with a little reassurance she was fine and in the end she absolutely LOVED this movie. I'm sure this will be one we'll buy when it comes out on disc.
