If you've read the book, yes you'll be disappointed by some things left out. but they made sure the heart was still there - it doesn't show a perfect "conversion" to christianity or anything, but do any of us really experience that?? …more»2 of 3 people found this review helpful-

This movie was great. I loved it. But I had to watch it twice to be able to say that. It defiantly isn't a family film, it earns it's PG 13 rating for sure, but it's wonderful. It's about life. Real life. So often we look at christians …more»2 of 2 people found this review helpful-

I tend to cringe when Christians get on a bandwagon for their latest "book du jour." Even though I am a follower of Christ, I cannot stand the label of "Christian" or the herd mentality of so many people in the churched-up sub-culture. …more»4 of 4 people found this review helpful-

The opening scenes of this film are enough to make any Bible-belt conservative Christian cringe. Don has bought into the image of a clean cut believer and is eager to head off to Bible college when his personal life comes crashing down around him. As …more»3 of 3 people found this review helpful
