Johnny Depp proves himself as a great actor without him this fi would not be as good as it is. He makes this film believeable. He knows how to take a character and make it his own. Penelope Does a very good job as well and irritsted me so much she made me want to punch her in the face. She was a total well you know and it was great. The story itself was pretty good but can get kind of repetitive after awhile and can be pretty predictable but I like the way it was told. Johnny Depp dos a good job at narrating the film. It was a film that was made not only made to entertain but to educate. It tells the story about the largest cocaine seller in America and his rise to riches and his fall to poverty and prison. Even though he is a drug dealer I grew to like Depp's character throughout the film and I felt sorry for him when he was arrested. I also really hoped that he wouldn't disappoint his daughter but he did over and over again. It is a similar story to a new movie called The Wrestler. Also the story parallels the story of Frank Lucas in American Gangster. This movie is worth seeing because of Depp by without him I wouldn't recommend it. However, I do strongly recommend The Wrestler and American Gangster.
