Today im looking at one of my favorite movies that I own.This movie is called Blood Diamond which came out in 2006.Setting takes place in Africa during a civil war for diamonds. Leading roles are Leonardo DiCaprio a mercenary/diamond smuggler trying to escape by his own terms, Djimon Hounsou a fisherman/father who is looking for his family after a rebel army called RUF destroyed his village and separating himself from his family, Jennifer Connelly a reporter looking to uncover the true story on how diamonds are made over time each of these characters join in a friendship and partnership to help one another. This movie has action drama and a love story all in one. MY likes are the acting was amazing the characters really united and made the movie believable.The other best part was the story line not one part of the story line had a flaw. My dislikes well there really isn't one dislike that's probably why it won 5 oscars.Since this movie has no flaws it has to get an A+.Would I rent buy or watch this movie on TV?I would do all of course the DVD doesn't have the cut scenes like the TV version but you will love it no matter.The movie is based on true events on how the Diamonds were fought over and blood was spilt hence the title Blood Diamond.
