The first 30 minutes of the film, copies what happened in Blade 2. 1.Something new happens in the Vampire world: Blade 2; Nomac transforms into a mutnat vampire. Blade Trinity; The vampires find Dracula (who looks like Marylin Manson's bodyguard than the vampire king) 2. Blade chases down the vampires. 3. Blade goes home. 4. Blade is ambushed. 5. Blade is taken in and the real plot unfolds. David Goyer needed a new director to do this, but once Jessica Beil and Ryan Reynolds show up, then the film starts to hold it's own. Seeing Blade with a kidnapped baby was comic, and the confrontations with words between Blade and Dracula are original and memorable; Blade: "You're not immortal, I must have heard hundreds of you rodents make the same claim, and each one of them has tasted the edge of my sword!" Plus the soundtrack was not all rap (thank God), the rap from The Rza was good, but the techno tracks from Overseer, Paris Texas, and The Crystal Method were excellent! And the coolest thing about Dracula is the Dracula beast, which looks a hech of a lot more stunning than the Dracula beast from Van Helsing! Oh yeah! As I had stated before, the first bit of the movie copies it's predacessor, but ends up being a great stand alone flick!
