I walked in not knowing what to expect, except it had something to do with a depressed woman trying a new drug. My wife and I decided to go because we thought it was of reasonable length. (Neither of us like to sit through a movie longer than 2 hrs. unless it's really good and we know that based on reviews and friends' endorsements.)
The movie seems to start a bit slow and kind of formulaically. I thought it would be pedestrian or at most some kind of pseudo-activist movie against Big Pharma, etc. However, the movie took quite a fast turn after what appeared to be the most significant part of the movie came and went.
I won't spoil the plot. I recommend you see it but don't read any plot spoliers first; this is the kind of movie where the real value is in how it unfolds.
