Obvious, predictable, poorly cast and a great laugh.
I went to watch this film to celebrate a special occasion and it was the perfect film. We had worked out at a about a third of the way through the film what was going to happen in the end. We had a great time guessing what was going to happen next and when we got it right we enjoyed having a quite giggle. Emily Hawkins is great she spends half the time with makeup and half the time without it, this may have been not been a very wise decision as you leave the film with the impression that without all the paint she isn’t at all pretty; Her performance during the film is lackluster and that is being kind. Catherine Zeta Jones and Jude Law as the two psychiatrists are not at all believable in their roles and are glaring examples of poor casting decisions made by casting agents searching for a name rather that the right actor for the role. We had fun watching this film, if you go with low expectations then you won’t be disappointed.
