I wish I could say that I loved this movie. I really wanted to. I fought with my aunt to see this movie over one she wanted to go to. It was neither bad nor good. I felt no true connection to the characters and found Rooney Mara's character Emily bland and difficult to feel any compassion for even before all the plot twist. I can ever say I was upset when Martin (Channing) was killed. Even the reveal of the plot twist fell flat and lead me to wonder when the movie would end. Every scene seemed to drag on with no true purpose. The scenes that actually contributed and were well acted, were short and few and far between. I didn't had the film, but this is one I would not recommend if you are looking for a true suspense/ thriller film. I was bored and will probably don't see it twice.
