This movie disturbed me. I became invested enough in the characters that when "the situation" happened I found myself grimacing repeatedly. I initially saw this movie because I like Rooney Mara's acting (The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo) and I was eager to see what direction her career would take. That in mind, I actually liked the movie more for the story and visceral feel than her acting. She gave me the creeps. It keeps you guessing all the way until the end true to good thriller form. Channing Tatum was good but Jude Law stole the show.
