Bernie(2012)- User Reviews

I had not heard nor seen a single thing about this movie. A friend of mine had gone to see it and loved it so much, she said she would go again with me and 4 of our friends. We laughed and laughed and laughed some more. Maybe because we are from Texas that it was so funny, but I'm sure anyone that has ever spent anytime in a small town can relate. The story never dragged, Jack Black (who sometimes is a little too outrageous for my taste) was perfect as the sweet and kind Bernie. Matthew McC. was exactly like every DA in a small town and that wasn't a stretch for him because he grew up in a not so small Texas town. Shirley McLain was also great. The real stars of this movie were the towns people. Go see this movie.
