Beowulf(2007)- User Reviews

This was a good movie, breathtaking effects and great acting. But this was not the story of Beowulf. This was a different tale. the forst 40 mins or so followed the poem exactly, but then strayed giving Grendel's mom to big a part. In the poem Beowulf chop's her head off. And Beowulf was not a flawed hero, he was perfect, the perfect hero, in fact hios downfall was he wanted to kill the dragon to prove that he still had it, and Wiglaf was the only one of his men who stood by him until the end. The movie was still good, but it's not Beowulf
