I can't believe it! This is by far my favorite movie of 2012 and I've seen The Hunger Games, Snow White, Mirror Mirror, 21 Jump Street, Act of Valor, The Dictator, just to name a few. I do feel this film will appeal to the over 25 crowd and it would be a good sexy date movie. I brought a friend with me that has read the book and seen the original with George Saunders and who was as equally impressed with this film as I was. This is a movie that doesn't rely on special effects or costumes but soley on a great story line, well developed main characters, ambiance and excellent and scandalous performances from the main cast! Robert blew me away! I thought I would be so gripped by his beauty and believe me I noticed it, yet I was even more gripped and even more impressed by his scintillating performance that transported me and my friend to Paris in the 1890's and into the lifes of George Duroy and the women who loved him. If you want to see a good story, with excellent acting, my friend and I highly recommend Bel Ami.
