"Philip Seymour Hoffman, Ethan Hawke, Marsia Tomei, and Albert Finney all give strong performances, but the movie itself is just flat. This is so much like a Coen brothers film, but without the twisted sense of humor and something special about it. I really don't recommend this. It just dragged on for way too long and it seemed like the movie had nowhere to go."
