    The original classic. Its not a bad film even watching it 15 years after it came out. There seems to be too many bad guys in this film. David Duchovny tries to take over the Newton's business and nobody really notices (except the dog).

    Beethoven would be a cool dog in real life. But Beethoven is a "movie dog." In other words, every time some looks at him he tilts his head in a cute way, or he runs ro stop the bad guy because the dog knows that he is doing bad things.

    Eh... the dog's pretty cool, but the typical cookie- cutter- neighborhood- American- family is annoying at best. The movie would have been a lot better if the dog had become rabid and killed everybody.more»
