Beauty and the Beast(1991)- User Reviews

As a young girl, I was in love with the hand-drawn animation of not only this movie, but also of Bambi, Fantasia, Cinderella, The Little Mermaid, etc. Now that I am an adult, it was disheartening to watch my niece's excitement over computer animation. While the new forms of "cartoons" take their own type of skill to master, the true talent and imagination that goes into bringing the Classic stories to life is what makes then magical.

When I took her (she is 5) to see this is 3D, it was heart-warming to watch her eyes glow as the pictures come to life- the songs that moved me as a child, touching her as well It was worth all $30 for this 3D adventure, when she asked me if I could see that it "looked real" too and for the 2 minutes she leaned over during the movie, with tears in her eyes, and held my arm during Beauty and Beast's waltz. Heck, I can't lie, I felt the same fuzzy feeling I did as a young girl during "Tale as Old as Time" and "Be Our Guest." After the movie she said, "thank you, Auntie, that was the best treat ever, I almost cried." Again, she is just 5.

I would highly recommend every adult to take their children to see this movie and fall in love with Disney all over again!!
