Beautiful Creatures(2013)- User Reviews

This movie you really have to see. So I'm a big supernatural fan, which sometimes means I end up seeing movies that I wish I hadn't. Not this one. This was such a GREAT and refreshing movie. Unlike Twilight, where all of the main characters have basically one look that they continue to do throughout the movie, these people can ACT! The story is great and centers around a romance and the imagery is beautiful! I didn't know if I was going to like it based on the trailer (it looked like it might be a little depressing) but honestly I kept smiling, laughing, and awww-ing all the way through this movie. Please, please, please see it! You'll be so happy you did and with flights being what they are, this will certainly be the cheapest vacation you take in a while, but one you're sure to write home about ;)

Seriously, I can't understand why beautiful creatures hasn't done better in the box office. The only thing that I can possibly attribute it to is their trailer. I'm sure if they would have played up the romance in the trailer people would have been running to see it.

Spoiler alert: Don't read on if you don't want to know something about this movie's ending... seriously, STOP READING... Okay, you've been warned... no hating me cause I posted this... I warned you....Anyway, the one thing that was frustrating was that this movie clearly ends with "sequel" opportunities (i.e. the ending for me personally wasn't all that satisfying because they wanted to be able to do a sequel. Now before you write it off, they don't leave you with a cliffhanger that leaves you wondering what going to happen next. You pretty much know, but you just don't get to see it.... Grrr movie industry... grrrrrrr).
