Beautiful Creatures(2013)- User Reviews

Having read the books, the movie was beyond horrible. The crazy aunts weren't there, neither was the dad, a couple of the cousins, Marion, Olivia and John among others weren't there... wow was this a mess. They didn't even play the melody of the moons that was in the audio books. Oh and one of the main characters names was changed! IF you didn't read the books and know that so much was missing or terribly altered, you could enjoy it. Once I got it through my head that this wasn't Beautiful Creatures book style, it was more enjoyable. My husband HATED the twilight movies but he laughed and enjoyed this one although he did say a couple parts seemed too rushed. Probably because they tried to cram 4 books into one movie and left out SOOOO MUCH! If they are going to change a book this much, they need to change the title too!
