Beautiful Creatures(2013)- User Reviews

If I had not read the books, stand alone, this would have probably been a great movie. However, knowing the plot from the books, the movie strayed quite a bit (characters, ending, HUGE, pivotal moments,etc) that I was left with a lukewarm feeling when the credits rolled. I'm actually afraid to see what the next movies will be like, based on the loose interpretation of the first book. Oh, the horrible, heavy southern accent in the first few minutes of the movie that seems to oddly disappear.... Just one more weird flaw.
