A great portion of this movie was filmed behind my home. The trail that Hush Puppie is running on on the front was under 8 Ft. of water after the passing of hurricanes Gustav and Ike. It may be hard for some to understand our ways of life. We are not as poverty stricken any more than other places in the U.S. In fact we are richer due to our strong and hospitable culture.
