Batman: Gotham Knight(2008)- User Reviews

Really dark and gritty for the adult audience. Reminded me a lot of the HBO Spawn series from the 90's (which is freakin' amazing). This film is basically just 6 or so short stories taking place within Gotham, each with different villians getting their faces smashed in by the Batman. The animation is brilliant and visually striking. I loved the story-board-like animation and portrayal of Gotham. Very dark, grungy, damp, industrial, messy. Something alot of people forget is how dark the original Batman was supposed to be, and this movie portrays it all. Awsome movie! I loved how they made Arkham too! like a toxic metropolis.
