Babies(2010)- User Reviews

We started watching this in child development today 2/7/11. I was appalled by some of the scenes i saw. I know that it's what that culture does but it was interesting. I mean the Namibian baby getting a knife to the back of his head? What was the mom doing? My class couldn't figure it out. The Mongolian toddler dragging a cat by a leash around it's neck. It seemed like it was dead. The Japanese baby i didn't see much with that baby. I also didn't see much bad with the American baby probably because i'm used to seeing the american way of raising a baby. I am definitely not saying that by any means was any of what the other cultures were doing was wrong I was just not use to seeing it so it was shocking to me.
